About Us

When our daughter was born, it made us realise how difficult it was to find quality products that children enjoyed.  So from our background of designing and manufacturing bespoke hand made kitchens and furniture for over 20 years, we nurtured our desire to provide the best for our own children into a concept for our own new family business.  We focused our creative flair on children's furniture, not only creating pieces that parents would appreciate for their practicality and quality, but also that children would love for their imaginative design.

Our attention to detail and quality is exceptionally high, which has led us to deliver our furniture to families, nurseries, schools and hospitals throughout the UK. As we are a member of the Guild of Master Craftsmen, you can be confident you don't just have to take our word for the quality we provide. 

We also opened up our toy shop in 2006, which sells products sourced from around the world, individually selected for their play value and quality. Our toy shop is well worth a visit if you are in the area, if only to see the 16 ft dragon hanging from the ceiling (another example of our creative flair), or the life size gingerbread house which is stocked with our role play products. 
We are very proud that our shop was awarded the 'Best independent Toy Shop, North of England and Scotland' in 2008 by the British Toy and Hobby Association.

Myself and Jamie are not only the proud parents of our three beautiful children, but also the proud owners of a wonderful business where we strive to give the pleasure of what one our first ever clients said on their new room - 'it's better than Christmas', to all our customers.
